The Furmint grape variety has become Hungary’s iconic flagship, helping foreign consumers take their first steps toward Hungarian wines. Since 2022, the annual Furmint Février event series has aimed to strengthen this trend—building on Dániel Kézdy’s Furmint February initiative – and to serve as an entry point for both the French public and professionals into the world of Hungarian wines through various events.
