Kvaszinger Winery

The Kvaszinger family has been involved in viticulture and winemaking in the Tokaj wine region for several generations. Their ancestors arrived from Prussia in the early 1800s. Ödön Kvaszinger originally purchased four hectares in the Hatalos vineyard in 1929, and this has now expanded to 11.5 hectares. In the family’s two vineyards the region’s three most popular varieties are planted: Furmint, Muscat Lunel and Hárslevelű. Using a combination of traditional and modern techniques, the winery produces 50,000–60,000 bottles of unforgettable, high-quality white wine each year.
