Vineyards on the famous basalt hill, traditional and modern winemaking, an estate and many gastronomic experiences. The Laposa Estate has become one of the most popular wineries in Badacsony, and we are proud to showcase all the flavors and values of the wine region with our wines. The winery focuses primarily on traditional, local grape varieties, which are grown in the best areas of the volcanic hills. The winery mainly produces white wines, with an annual production of around 600,000 bottles. Their main varieties are Olaszrizling, Rajnai rizling, Szürkebarát, Kéknyelű and Furmint. They have long-aged, barrel-aged, single-vineyard wines, as well as fresh, reductive wines, so you can find the perfect accompaniment for any occasion. They strive to keep their product range up to date, which is why last year they created their own wine cocktail, Laposa Cooler, and their first non-alcoholic wine, Laposa Alcohol-Free Olaszrizling.
