This elegant, low-intervention Chardonnay is made from 50-year-old vines planted in a cooler plot near the largest lake in Central Europe. Initially reserved on the nose, it slowly unfolds with some aeration to reveal notes of ripe apple and pear, finishing with a mineral aftertaste. This terroir-driven wine is a fine example of a well-known variety that reflects its place of origin.
