Estate wine, drawn exclusively from loess-based vineyards surrounding the village of Tarcal, expressing the winery’s focused, site-driven philosophy rather than a single parcel. The 2023 vintage was marked by one of the rainiest summers in recent years; nevertheless, Kikelet harvested beautifully healthy fruit. The wine shows a classic Furmint profile, defined by high acidity and taut, loess-influenced minerality, with notes of pear, pomelo, and citrus, complemented by a subtle chamomile nuance. The palate is precise and composed, with gentle textural breadth and a quietly savoury undertone, remaining lean yet layered, with a firm structure and excellent ageing potential.
